What is it about Ngaben??

"Ngaben" is a culture in Bali Island. This is a ceremony to cremation the body of dead people. If the people who will be cremationed is the most people in Bali, is like the leader or great people in the state of culture in Bali, may it will be done in a great ceremony too. Imogiri, The Sanatorium's of the King from Javaness Kingdom

When you come to Imogiri, you must get the clothes like at the picture. But don't worry to bring it by yourself. Cause you can rent this clothes at the official of the sanatorium (grafe).
Imogiri is the place to rest the king of Mataram, Surakarta and Jogjakarta Kingdom that has pass a away.
Sultan Agung, Mangku Bumi, and Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono I untill IX had been rested at this location.
Imogiri is a litle mountain on Bantul, Jogjakarta. Not far a way from that place you can go to the Parangtritis Beach.
To reach this place you just need about a half hour from the Jogjakarta Palace or Malioboro by car or motorcycle.
Imogori is not every day open the gate to enter at the Sanatorium, is only on every Sunday, Monday, Friday to go in. Other day, you can go there, but at the out side of the sanatorium.
Over there, you can meet some people who use the Javaness clothes. They are the guardener of this place. You can talk to them, or find some history of the Imogiri place.
There was an history of great Mataram and now still be Jogjakarta Kingdom. And you can get close to the King (Sultan). Join with their ceremony of the javaness culture. Make your pray for your success. Smile from Jogjakarta.

Kaliurang, Jogjakarta "valey of Merapi"

Kaliurang is located at "Merapi Mountain" area, Jogjakarta. You can feel an fresh air, cool temperature in tropic. To reach there, you just go to the north side of central Jogja, find Kaliurang Street, after about 15 km from Jogja you can find the place.
This place have so many building of homes, hotels, markets. You can walk up stair for about 1 hours and you will see the view of top Merapi from Kaliurang. At the region of Kaliurang you can find some monkeys run on the ground and can be near of you, come and eat some food that people give for them.

"Kraton" Sultan Palace, Jogjakarta

Sultan Palace in Jogjakarta was built about 200 years a go by Prince Mangkubumi. When Mataram split into two state at the year of 1855, so there was Solo Palace and Jogjakarta Palace. Mangkubumi been a Sultan (King) at Jogjakarta with the name Sultan Hamengku Buwono I.

Now this Sultan Palace are opened to be a nice place for tourism. It's very easy to reach there, becuase this place is in the central of Jogjakarta, at the next south of Malioboro. You can find a great situs from the building and so much histories that told by the guide from there.

Parangtritis Beach, Jogjakarta

When you come to Jogjakarta, you can enjoy the beach at the south side of Jogjakarta. So beautiful beach with some "bendi" (transportation local) run with a horse on the sand. You can see or play with a great shore at this beach. Feel the hot of the sun shine, or feel the strong windy from "Laut Selatan" (south sea of Jogja). Laut Selatan have a legend of "Nyi Loro Kidul". Borobudur Temple, Midle of Java

Prambanan Temple, Jogjakarta

Prambanan is the most beauty of Hindu's temple. The location is at the east side of Jogjakarta, near the Jogja-Solo highway, about 15 km from the central of Jogjakarta. It was built in about 10th century. There was a legend too about this temple. The legend is about "Lorojongrang and Bandung Bondowoso". Because of Bandung Bondowoso cannot get his love to Lorojongrang, he change Lorojongrong by a said to be a stone as part of this temple.
